The Design Process Part 5
Evaluate and refine
The production and testing of prototypes enables feedback on the proposal. Asking a focus group whether they understand the proposal; can follow a set of instructions; find the type easy to read; react to colour usage positively; or find an image suitable gives essential feedback before committing to a final product. A presentation of a design proposal to a client can lead to further development work. One should practice caution here in that a client or a designer might not be the typical user. Certain assumptions could be made based on their bias and specialist knowledge, which the user may not share.
